START is a registered charity with the Charity Commission (number 1143737) and is run by a Board of Trustees who have the financial and legal responsibility for the Trust. They in turn delegate the running of each of the projects that START is involved in to the Management Committee.
START exists to promote recovery from and raise awareness of Dissociative Disorders by providing training, education and support to dissociative survivors and their professional and lay supporters, and by campaigning for appropriate treatment.
We intend to fulfil our aim by four objectives:
